We are delighted to announce the SUNSON project’s active participation in the upcoming 15th World Conference on Thermophotovoltaic Generation of Electricity (TPV-15), set to take place in Madrid, Spain. This esteemed event marks a significant milestone, commemorating 30 years of pioneering advancements in thermophotovoltaic (TPV) technology since the first conference in 1994.
SUNSON’s contributions to TPV-15 will be highlighted through:
- Conference Proceedings: Presenting comprehensive research findings and detailed insights into the latest advancements in TPV technology.
- Keynote Talks: Featuring speeches from leading experts who will discuss breakthrough innovations and future trends in TPV applications.
- Posters: Showcasing interactive posters that offer an in-depth look at innovative solutions and facilitate collaborative discussions.
This year’s TPV-15 conference will be held in conjunction with the 2nd Ultra High Temperature Thermal Energy Storage (UHTES) Workshop. Co-organized under the EU-funded SUNSON project, this joint event aims to enhance our understanding of TPV technology and high-temperature thermal batteries. These thermal batteries are crucial for providing cost-effective, long-duration energy storage solutions, significantly impacting waste heat recovery, portable power generation, and grid-scale energy storage.
The synergy between TPV technology and high-temperature thermal batteries underscores the importance of this joint event. By combining collective knowledge and expertise, we aim to drive innovations that will shape the future of sustainable energy solutions.
